Virginia Business Magazine names CEO Crabtree one of "100 People To Meet" in 2021

QOMPLX CEO Jason Crabtree was named one of Virginia Business Magazine's "100 People To Meet" in 2021. Crabtree is one of 10 business leaders named in the magazine's Innovators category.

The annual 100 People To Meet list recognizes Virginians who "make the commonwealth a more interesting and innovative place to live and work," the Magazine said.

Virginia Business Magazine cited the growth of QOMPLX, which closed a $78.6 million Series A funding round in July 2019 and now has more than 200 employees. It also notes Crabtree's unique path to the CEO office after growing up on a farm near Seattle and then attending West Point, serving as an infantry officer in Afghanistan and then attending the University of Oxford to study engineering science on a Rhodes Scholarship.

“Risk is really just a consequence of dependence,” Crabtree, told VBM. He said QOMPLX's goal is to help its customer navigate risk in “what I think will be an increasingly turbulent century.”
