Forbes Technology Council: Andrew Sellers on Remote Work

QOMPLX CTO and co-founder, Andrew Sellers, was part of a panel of experts discussing the “new normal,” and how to secure remote workers against cyber threats for the Forbes Technology Council. Read the article, “Protect Your Business And Your Remote Staff From Hackers With These 16 Strategies.”

Remote work is unavoidable in the midst of the pandemic, but improper practices open up workers to the risk of cyber attacks. Sixteen tech leaders, including QOMPLX Chief Technology Officer, Andrew Sellers, share strategies on how to protect distributed systems.

“Firms must challenge assumptions around trust and identity for their IT enterprises. Distributed workforces will disrupt the means by which most firms authenticate identity and control access, as the source will no longer be a predictable indicator of trust. Endpoints connecting from residential networks shared with untrusted devices will necessitate externally validating the use of data and services.”

Other tech leaders spoke on authorization and credentials, striking back at hackers, and IoT best practices.
