Chief Executive Officer Jason Crabtree took part in a panel discussion at the recent Nasdaq Cybersecurity Summit.
Jason joined Virginia Gambale, Managing Partner of Azimuth Partners, Todd Thibodeaux, President and CEO of CompTIA, and Colleen Valentine, Senior Manager for Information Security Governance & Compliance at Nasdaq on a panel.
The group discussed the challenge of operationalizing cybersecurity risk management. Panelists communicated the importance of ubiquitous education concerning cybersecurity and the importance of making information readily accessible and easy to interpret across enterprises.
Among the ideas discussed during the panel was setting a baseline to assess the maturity of an organization’s data security as well as developing a plan that addresses people, process and technology while consistently assessing, monitoring and anticipating cyber threats.
