As Vice President of Applied Research Mr. Kelley is responsible for QOMPLX Research and Development initiatives across the company portfolio, rapid prototyping, and proof of concept feature development.
Mr. Kelley has over 20 years of experience in information security. He served in the US Air Force as a communication officer responsible for managing network operations and security for mission critical systems. After leaving the Air Force, he contracted for military and government clients including the US Army 1st Information Operations Command, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and National Security Agency (NSA) as a network engineer, software engineer, and penetration tester. Immediately before joining QOMPLX, he co-founded Gray Tier Technologies to provide security assessments to both government and commercial clients and led the Pentagon Joint Service Provider Vulnerability Research and Exploit Development Team (VRED), where he was responsible for finding 0-day vulnerabilities in Pentagon networks.
Mr. Kelley holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, and a M.S. in Interdisciplinary Engineering with a focus on Computational Engineering from Purdue University.
